Just For The Record is a recording studio based in Los Angeles, California, founded by music producer Moritz Braun. Moritz approached me to help design Just For The Record’s website in 2018. Moritz and I met and shared ideas about what style and aesthetic he was looking for with this web design. The following is the first draft I sent to him based on our discussions and brainstorms.

Moritz and I met and shared ideas about what style and aesthetic he was looking for with this web design. The following is the first draft I sent to him based on our discussions and brainstorms.

Just For The Record is a recording studio based in Los Angeles, California, founded by music producer Moritz Braun. Moritz approached me to help design Just For The Record’s website in 2018. Moritz and I met and shared ideas about what style and aesthetic he was looking for with this web design. The following is the first draft I sent to him based on our discussions and brainstorms.

While Moritz loved the look and feel of the draft, he wanted the website to have multiple pages and horizontal scrolling, as opposed to vertical. He also figured the site should be more of a teaser (since the music studio was still under construction) and for it to be darker and replicate the feeling of being in a music studio late at night.
