Drip

Branding & Web Design

Drip’s visual brand has always been known for its unique, cozy, and instantly recognizable vibe. However, as the market evolved, Drip’s visual strategy changed, steering it away from what initially made it shine among email marketing tools. As the Senior Brand Designer, I refreshed the visual brand standards, keeping Drip’s original charm and feel while adding fresh assets, illustrations, and a flexible brand system. This allowed for quick, iterative designs that perfectly aligned with our go-to-market initiatives.

Balance

Since ballpoint pen hand drawings heavily influenced the new visual style, I incorporated contrast and real-life elements to provide context. I designed mock-up windows, charts, and lists inspired by the Drip user interface to blend seamlessly with and overlap illustrations, effectively highlighting the value of Drip’s tools and features. Furthermore, I created a library of mock email and onsite/popup form designs specifically tailored for various verticals and industries targeted through landing pages, ads, social media posts, and other channels.

Implementation

Once I polished up the visual style and brand system, it was time to roll out the new look across the Drip website. This meant giving our homepage, navigation menus, product pages, industry pages, webinar templates, and lots more a fresh update.
