Drip
Branding & Web Design
Drip's visual brand style has been known for being distinctive, warm, and easily recognizable. Over time, the visual strategy shifted, moving Drip away from what originally helped it stand out in a market full of email marketing tools. As the Senior Brand Designer, I updated the visual brand standards, building on Drip's original look and feel, with new assets, illustrations, and a modular brand system to enable quick iterative designs aligned with our go-to-market strategy.
Balance
Since ballpoint pen hand drawings heavily influenced the new visual style, I added contrast and included real-life elements to provide context. I designed mock-up windows, charts, and lists inspired by the Drip user interface to blend with and overlap illustrations, clarifying the value of Drip's tools and features. Additionally, I created a library of mock email and onsite/popup form designs tailored for specific verticals and industries targeted through landing pages, ads, social media posts, and more.
Implementation
After refining the visual style and brand system, it was time to implement the new look across the Drip website. This involved updating the homepage, our navigation menus, product pages, industry pages, webinar templates, and more.
